World Angels Shelters Organization (WASO) was established in 2020 with a dedicated mission to enhance the dignity of the elderly by establishing Regional City/Village Estates, providing them with decent shelters and essential social amenities. At WASO, we believe in the positive aspects of aging and view it as a powerful connection to a rich past, where hopes and dreams persist. Our focus is on promoting aging well within the community, offering enriching opportunities, and fostering vital community connections for the elderly within our target areas.

Central to our initiatives is a unique program for establishing Regional City/Village Estates that not only serves as a physical haven but also aims to illuminate the positive aspects of aging. We understand that age does not erase hopes and dreams; instead, it connects individuals to a wealth of experiences that contribute to the fabric of our society. This is the essence of what World Angels Shelters is all about.

About the Volunteer Country International Coordinator Role: Country International Coordinators at WASO play a vital role in the implementation of our programs at the Country level. We believe in the strength of local communities, and as a Volunteer Country International Coordinator, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute directly to our initiatives by addressing the specific needs and challenges faced by the elderly in your country and be able to travel to the United Nations Headquarters in New York City for occasional meetings.
